It is tough. Sorry for your loss. We lost an 18 YO Heeler recently. I'm not an emotional guy buy I shed a tear. We do get attached to dogs. Took several months before I quit expecting to see her in the living room every morning.

Sucks, sorry for your loss its gut wrenching, been there, done that. I'm sitting here looking at my two laying in the living room floor at my feet, already know I'll kill me. Sad thing is they are only two and I'm already apprehensive about it.
