Young Brother Brown gives a quality start and gets hung with the loss. He was bringing some real gas last night, sitting in the upper 90's almost the entire time with the fastball.
Houston offense on the other hand...0-5 with RISP and 6 LOB with 3 total hits. A safe bet for a loss. Brendan Rodgers dropping the pickoff throw from Brown for the sure out only to have the runner score on the next pitch is incredible aggravating.

Onto Spaghetti tonight in the series finale.

Yordan, who is 7 for13 against Griffin with two bombs gets ahead 2-0. Takes a gutshot fastball down the middle. Proceeds to take another fast middle/in with the bat on his shoulder. Pops out two pitches later.
Don't even get me started on the strike em out/throw em out with Paredes/Altuve. Altuve looked to dog it about halfway and was dead to rights on the throwdown.

Houston is somehow the only MLB team without an extra base hit going into tonight's game. Griffin Canning is 0-3 with a 7ERA against the Houston hitters on the roster with the hitters posting a lifetime .304 batting average and a .905OPS. That said, Canning is going to look like Bob Gibson tonight, isn't he?

You don't want win many series against a contender when scoring a total of 6 runs. Hats off to the pitching, especially the starters. 19 IP, 9 hits, 3ER, 6BB, 16K.
I saw that Isaac Paredes saw a whopping 65 pitches in his 12 plate appearances.

Haven’t heard anything about them.

Something along the lines of what’s pictured below. Apparently, there was a configuration change made to the bat builds and it, in theory at least, increases the chances of squaring a baseball up.
