I probably have, but can't remember seeing an MLB outfielder play a fly ball worse than Taveras played that fly ball in the 8th inning last night. Absolutely pathetic!

Horrible exhibition of major league baseball last night. Leody Taveras is a terrible outfielder. As is Garcia. Outfield throws alone may have cost that game last night. Ugh.

I had the game on the radio waiting for the west coast first pitch from Seattle for the Houston game. Nadel and Matt Hicks were beside themselves on the Taveras misfire in the outfield. They eluded that that costly mistake, like you said, cost them them the game.

I still have no idea why they let Janko get away. I despise Taveras, but I realize they planned on Evan Carter being out there. Hell, put Smitty out there, he can do it all.

I agree, but he needs to be in the lineup daily. I'm afraid it's going to come down to Smitty being trade bait at the deadline, and that would be a shame, but he's going to have some value to a lot of teams.
