Holidays have started deer season is in full swing. 100s of 1000s of deer hunters are swapping stories by fire lite across the nation. Some of those fires are short members for one reason or another. Tonight, take a moment and think about those guys and gals

The geezer has crossed my mind several times this year Steve. Probably because my dad hasn't made a single deer hunt this year and that has NEVER happened. The triple bypass he had in September has knocked him for a loop. I'm still keeping his feeder full and his food plot planted. Its all waiting for him. I sat in his stand tonight

Hes been on my mind a lot lately and the reason for this thread.

Lost my lease partner this year--his daughter-in-law hadn't gotten replies to messages/texts/calls so she had the LEOs go do a welfare check--and found him deceased in his home.
