Why do British Singers not have an accent when singing?

Nicki Minaj is over shadowing any actual talent with craziness. I love me a female rapper but half the time you don't know what she is saying/doing. So instead of going down in history as a decent rapper she will go down as that crazy acting black lady gaga with a hot body and a busted arse face. I bought her cd-- wish I wouldn't have- she can't keep on focused long enough to get a full song accomplished. There is a reason why they only let rappers do the bridge on popular songs-- and that reason is Nicki Minaj.



And how about Foreign Accent Syndrome? People have a head injury and start talking with a British accent all of a sudden. Now that is wild. But what I want to know is, how come you never wake up after a head injury talking like Penelope Cruze or Sofia Vegara? Now that would be awesome.
