I just figured it out. I bought my digital license online and originally said no to HIP. I just went back to my account to "Purchase" another item. I selected HIP (its free) and checked out. It was added to my digital license. Very easy.

Because if I hunted doves last year, I’m not going to remember how many I killed back then. Same way with my brother that does a lot of duck hunting. He doesn’t keep tract of what he killed during the season. So when the question is asked how many were killed last year, the answer is some random number.

at my camp when I duck hunt I write on the wall of my cabin how many I killed and what location I killed them after each hunt. I do the same with deer. its cool looking back years later and seeing past results if Hunting elsewhere I have it all on a list in my phone location and number killed. I do not record when I do not kill anything.

It should come in the mail...fix it to your lic & sign.

Don't forget to sign the license or you can be ticketed, in addition to needing to fill out the back side if you shoot a deer.

Speaking of the HIP reporting. A few years ago I was "selected" to participate in some Federal program where you had to send a part of the wings for ducks and geese by mail. They re-uped me for a second year, glad my service is completed. All bet you being on that HIP report landed me in that program.

I bought mine online. It came in mail the day before yesterday. I see that they didn't give me HIP certification, Archery endorsement, upland gamebird, etc. Time to start over.

Just got mine at academy and they didn't HIP cert me. I had to call a manager to have them reprint my license. Make sure yall double check yours.

This happened to me a couple years back we got stopped at Conn Brown after an afternoon hunt - green pants noted he could have cited me even know the license maker at academy forgot to ask me and I forgot to ask. Went to academy and they printed me the HIP number on a blank license for free

Stopped at a Walmart in AR last week to get a license for their dove opener

Guy at the counter said he did not have the option to do HIP and that I had to call some number

So when I got back in the truck I went online and got the HIP
Should have just got it all online and not had to deal with all of the line and uneducated counter jockeys

What is the price for a Non-Resident Hunting License in Arkansas? Does it include Deer, Turkey and Bear?

Maybe one of these days I'll kill a snipe and get to say that out loud.

I wonder how TPWD compiles the data to be as accurate as possible? Do they take 75% of doves claimed to be killed? I'm guessing there is a whole heck of a lot of exaggerations.
