    Speeding ticket

    My son not me

Can you get out of a speeding ticket if they put the wrong color truck. Mine is silver. They put black. Not even close.

You can try or do what I do and hire a lawyer to deal with it.

Just ask if you can take defensive driving or deferred adjudication. Fighting the color of truck probably won't get you anywhere.

Not likely if everything else is in order and the cop just clicked the wrong color of the ticket writer. It's all going to be on body cam and dash cam.

I would try it. In my non lawyer opinion, it opens up the argument that the LEO had the wrong person/vehicle. Depending on the severity of the ticket, they may not want to mess with it.

I once had a ticket dismissed because the LEO put the wrong location on the ticket.

What lesson would that teach your son?

This. You'll spend way more time, effort, and stress than just doing one of these two things to make it go away. DefDriving is easy online. Tell son not to do the crime if he can't do the fine

He's guilty, Man up & face it. Drive legal or face the consequences.

You are not guilty until someone proves you are guilty. Never accept guilt until the hammer falls.

To pay attention to detail while he’s doing his job.

Your honor, if we need to further waste courts time I can subpoena the dash cam, body cam, pole cam, bank cam, ring cam, drone cam and ham cam that clearly shows the defendants face driving a vehicle that was speeding. While we're at it maybe we can see if the officer is color blind and dyslexic as well. I dont really see how any of that has anything to do with a vehicle driving X in an X on a public roadway and that he signed the citation on the given date

Yeah the color of the vehicle has nothing to do with the alleged violation
