                      This was from my iPhone and a good tripod but it’s a stretch to reach from the back of the blind to make adjustments. I have practiced a ton of recording and I had it on him and ready but failed to hit record- I was a little let down that I failed that.

                        I don’t even worry about trying to record the kills. I put my emphasis on the quality of the pics after the recovery. Too much chance to screw something up and spook them IMHO (esp axis deer).

                        And btw, every kill pic I take is with my iPhone. I don’t even use the little tripod anymore. I just stack up a couple rocks or find a stump to put the phone on and use the 10sec delay .
