Never heard of it. Sounds pretty bad.

[QUOTE=tpack;n26875307]This will probably be the last nail in the coffin for any western other than the $ h i t y ones that aren`t even a B movie on Netflix. My hats off to Costner for at least trying and risking his own money and telling Hollywierd to suck his Richard. It may have been a bit too much to expect people to invest that much time for a 4-part movie. I`ll bet Lonesome Dove would even be a flop at the movies today with 2024 expectations. [/

        that’s a little dramatic isn’t it?

It’s sad that you have to search out good movies these days.

Horizon was OK and that’s because it was a Western. I love Westerns and they don’t make many these days.

              Hollywood suxks!

I tried to watch it today on a flight to Denver, I couldn't get through about 30 minutes of it. Worst attempt at a western ever.

I agree with this. People don't have the attention span for this, much less movie go-ers. It would have done a lot better streaming as a series. I liked it and you can cleary tell its setting up a story line.
