We saw it last week. I enjoyed it overall, but it was definitely just an introduction to I don't even know how many story lines. I'm guessing they'll all kinda come together in the 2nd episode. It looked like all the various unrelated people in the stories were all gonna end up in Horizon at the same time. So maybe it'll start coming together in the next one. I'll watch the next one. This one definitely wasn't anything super special though. It wasn't bad, just not great.
The thing that bugged me the most, was in one scene when some bad guy brothers found the woman that killed their dad in the opening scene. They were in a cabin, and on the wall of the cabin was a deer mount. It was an axis buck. I'm pretty sure they didn't have axis in Wyoming in the 1800s. My wife and friends didn't even realize there was a deer on the wall in that scene, much less that it was an axis. But I did, and it was obviously a city slicker set designer mistake.
