I agree with most, thought it was really bad. No direction to the story line. A lot of useless dialogue. For a minute I thought it was a Tarentino movie with it bouncing all around:

The way this movie flopped I’m not sure there will be a second installment anymore. At least not in theaters

Last week they announced more are coming. Folks need to understand it is a 3 part show. By part 3 we will get it a lot better...

It was such a bad flop that it was available on prime two weeks after it hit the theaters.

Wife and I watched with much anticipation as we both enjoy Costner in most of his movies. We made it roughly an hour into it...thats time I will never get back.

We watched it last night and I thought it was just ok. But, my expectations were very low due to all my TBH reviewers. It jumped around a lot and was almost impossible to follow all the story lines. Probably should be a made for TV mini-series.

This will probably be the last nail in the coffin for any western other than the $ h i t y ones that aren`t even a B movie on Netflix. My hats off to Costner for at least trying and risking his own money and telling Hollywierd to suck his Richard. It may have been a bit too much to expect people to invest that much time for a 4-part movie. I`ll bet Lonesome Dove would even be a flop at the movies today with 2024 expectations.

Lonesome Dove was a TV mini-series, Costner should take note.

I have been watching Horizon for the last 1.5 hour, omg it’s slow out of the gate fore sure.
Never get that 3 hours back. If part 2 isn’t any better that show will be riding on Kostner’s reputation alone imo.
