Too much of DFW has been covered in concrete, and all these new subdivisions have small lots and are designed to shed all water quickly. It sucks for SE Texas, and will only get worse.

It’s only a matter of time until a levee breaches and floods downtown Dallas. Or god forbid, Lewisville dam fails, which was a concern some years ago.
