Should be in it's banks there at 21. If not, close to it. But still very high and fast. See the link below.

It rained like holy hell up here across the north watershed the last several days.

Got quite a bit in Granbury last night. It’s a long drive for me to sit on the bank and look at a swollen inaccessible mess 🤣

Heavy rains in Austin that started in the middle of the night and lasted until about 10:00 AM. Got a lot in Lexington, too. If this keeps up, we may not have to haul in hay from out of state this winter. Crossing my fingers.

don't know where you are wanting to fish but oakwood and crockett gauges are at 32' and 30' and skying. it will be bank full and ripping this weekend.
my non requested advice is to wait until gauge height is 17' or less. then put in at hwy 7

Use the link I included in an earlier post. River is back on the rise. Look at the current level. Normal "pool stage", if you want to call it that, is 8'-10'. It will be some time before it gets back to that level.

Pick where you want to put in. Then watch the guages for stream flow. Each dot represents a guage or other. Click on the dot.

Prediction is 43 at Trinadad on Tuesday I believe, at 34 the creek backs up on me, at 41 or so it comes in a drain in the high bank, if it gets to 43 my place in Freestone county will be 99% underwater, only the high ground will be dry, 3 out of the last 6 weeks we have been completely under water and probably another week or so partially underwater, it has almost been dry enough for me to get down there twice, it’s been getting 1” rains several times a week, I’m guessing be at least 3 weeks if it doesn’t rain any more.

For real. If it stopped today, you're looking at 2 weeks

Almost daily downpours continue up here on the watershed.

Thanks for the advice on the websites. Really wanted to make it down this year to try and get another river monster🤣time is almost up though. About time for some offshore kayak season! Don’t think I want to be on that river all day in late June and July! Thanks for everyone’s intel.

River is still very high and another wall of water headed down from Trinidad. Not the right time...

Just raised Trinidad forecast to 47.2 on Friday, this will probably put another 3’ of water on our place that is already under water, 47.2 is about 2.5’ below the highest level recorded. This is going to get interesting.I believe this will be a major flood event downstream.
