    oh boy, more fed overreach.

sell your trucks now and buy an ev so big brother can decide when you can charge your econobox or ride your bicycle instead

I sure hope this isn’t true, but if so- The same ~3 hours in the driveway can turn a delete around to stock ….. just not nearly as fun

Had my 2015 gmc denali 2500 deleted. Went from 15 ish mpg to 21 when not pulling. I have a 5 stage tuner. the whole deleted truck wont sell or dealers wont touch them is total BS. My truck bwfore delete was using DEF fuel about ever 2-3 fillups. What a pain. Mine is no louder after delete then before. I had them pull def tank and and everything else under there and put a muffler back on. No difference in sound but dang is it nice when i put the pedal down. Basically removed 90% of the lag when giving it gas.

What do you do if the tuner goes bad and you can't buy a new one because they are illegal?

Illegal to use on a vehicle ran on the street, not illegal to own or use on an off road only vehicle.
simple answer- buy from a source not currently in the USA

another answer- don’t fool with it and you won’t have to worry about it.

I don't know if they're all the same, but my tuner simply uploaded the tune and that's it, it doesn't stay plugged in.

The 17 Texas counties that require emissions inspections will still mandate annual tests regardless of the bill becoming law. These are Brazoria, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, El Paso, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Johnson, Kaufman, Montgomery, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, Travis and Williamson counties.

I had mine deleted, tuned and am getting very good fuel mileage now and with a significant horse power increase. I don't live in one of the above counties.

This. They tune it with a computer, engine, trans, etc.

I'm sure Bexar county will feel left behind and implement it at some point trying to be cool like the others.
