I have 2 electric meters at my house. One supplies my home and the other for my shop. The contract plan for the shop is expiring this Friday and the new plan will see an increase of right at 25% with Ambit. Luckily, the average usage is only around 250-250 kWh per month. My house averages 1500-2000 kWh, and it will expire in a couple of months. There are a lot if new electricity providers since the last time I shopped rates.Some of them are:
* Ohm Connect
*Frontier Power
*Revolution Energy
*Discount Power
*Shell Energy
True Power
Anyone have a provider to stay away from, or they are really happy with that you would recommend? I am sure electricity providers are like insurance companies, they are all great as long as you are paying and there are no problems. What makes a company stand above the rest is when you have an issue and/or they need to pay you or talk to customer service and get a foreigner on the phone that you can't understand. Customer service reps that speak English are a plus.
