Does anyone use these? I thought about ordering me some. I like the design of these snake catchers. I assume they're good quality but I don't know anything about them.

I've got a set of the 40" MidWest with the standard jaws. The bottom jaw is flat on the bottom and inside. And has a slight angle up near the hinge, kinda like a golf club head does. But not as abrupt. The top jaw is the only one that moves. The end (or tip) of the lower jaw is rounded down to the outside edge from the inside, downward (one-sided wedge shape) so it is easier to slip under the snake (or anything else). Both features are so it is easier to slip under the snake at an angle, and lift up. When not in my truck, I use mine around the house all the time for picking up very small twigs in the yard, and other very small objects when my back won't let me. You'd be surprised at what you can pick up with them.Last edited by Texas Grown; 03-01-2024, 10:08 PM.

went on veterans hunt in Uvalde and when guys getting license at very nice store in town I was looking around and literally every boot was a snake boot and they had tubs full of long snake catchers......told them definitely a sign to watch where you step.......I don't live in rattle or copper head country and a rat snake scares me.......
