Sleep Number Beds?

Have one for about 8 years now. Split king adjustable head/foot. Don't really use the adjustable but may be as we get older. Yes on get the cushion top. They have like three thicknesses to choose from. Took a week or so to really find a setting to stick with. Still find myself changing to a different number after several month. We love ours. It is a great bed. When I sleep somewhere else, I cant wait to get back to the sleep number.

I hated the ones I slept on, overpriced air mattress is right, only hotter.

We much preferred the Purple, but it gave out after 4-5 years. I just replaced it with a Casper from Costco and will do so every 3-4 years, for $800 bucks, until I find something better.

The p’s through i’s do not feel anything like an air mattress! I am an air mattress despiser and would much rather sleep on a blanket on the ground.

if anyone has purchased without there being sales then I totally agree, they are way overpriced. To each their own.

yes- the purple Sucked for us but for someone else they may be the best thing since sliced bread!

We have Tempurpedic at home and sleep number in the motorhome, when one of us doesn’t sleep well for a cpl nights we go out to the motorhome because we both sleep better on the sleep number

Bought our first after my back surgery at 40 (now 58). Moved it 3 times, replacing it at Christmas in our Sugar Land condo. Bought a new one for the barndo (lift version) in Shiner.

For us they have been outstanding.

I don’t have a sleep number bed at the ranch. Got home last night to sleep on my sleep number bed for the first time in 5 months. App showed 7.5 hours of restful sleep, under two minutes of restless sleep. I feel great today. Time to get a sleep number at the ranch. Best money I ever spent.

When does sleep number typically do there big sales? I’m in the market for one as soon as possible. Do they typically have a big sale for the 4th of July?

We bought an i8 during their Memorial Day sale and have been sleeping on it for almost 3 weeks now. My back and neck haven’t felt this good in years.

I8 is what we are looking at. Did you also get the adjustable frame? Our current bed will not work with an adjustable frame. Its a solid wood head board/ foot board/ frame all in one. We don't want to get rid of it. Looks like they are currently 30% off for the 4th. How good of a deal was the memorial day sale?

We did, the Flex 1 which is just the head and neck area.

In total with the mattress, base, delivery and haul off we were in for a little over $6500. I honestly never thought I’d spend that much for something like that but it was worth it by the results in my opinion, plus the previously mentioned Tempur-Pedic ran about 2k for just the mattress and box spring in January of 2014.

Also, make sure you get the discount code from an employer if you’re military, first responder or involved in the medical field. My wife is medical IT and that saved us an extra 5%.
