I did have to replace one of the mattresses about five years ago but that’s it.
I have no use for any other kind of bed since this one is perfect for me.
30 yrs ! I could have almost purchased a 24’ f350 6.7 KR with all of the mattresses we have purchased in the last 30 yrs .

We have had one 20 + years. Bought the cheap version then because money was tight. Still going strong. I would like one of the cooling ones but I don’t want to spend the money

I bought a sleep number about a year ago. At first I hated it and kept getting up in middle of the night to sleep on couch. Found my number of 30 and now I love it.

Been there done that purple 3! Ours lasted 1.5 yrs - we don’t have kids that jump in the bed either.

My sleep number is 60 and my wife's is 45.

We've had our sleep number for close to 10 years now. We have the adjustable head and foot base. I'd buy a sleep number again if needed, but she wouldn't let me. It's not as comfortable for her.

We got one second hand from my wife's uncle when he downsized, and have used it for 5 or 6 years now. I like it fine, and my wife loves it. She just picked out a new one that will be delivered in a couple of weeks. Ours has a pad that hooks over the mattress, so I've never felt like I was sleeping on an air mattress like some folks are saying.

Going to check them out today! The only thing that concerns me is their customer service- still getting poor reviews.

For those saying its like an expensive air mattress you need to work on the adjustments. Also get the one with the memory foam topper. Makes a huge difference. But if you and your spouse have different firmness preferences its the only way to go. We also have the adjustable base and made a huge difference also. Well worth the money. It saved my back and alot of arguments.

The up front cost sucked for sure but now after sleeping on one for 5-6 yrs I'd buy another in a heart beat. You just cant put a price tag on good sleep and a non aching back.

We have had zero issues with ours. Customer service has never been needed that I can remember. Get the one with the cooling/memory foam topper. .

The old ones really did feel like sleeping on an air mattress. They were horrible, in my opinion.

9 years ago we stopped by a local Sleep Number store and tried some out. Boy had they changed for the better!! We ended up getting a split king I8 with dual adjustable bases.

At the time, my wife had horrible back pain and it all stopped with the Sleep Number bed. I have REALLY bad problems with my feet and was able to get the swelling down which helped by raising my feet when I sleep. As the years have gone by, now my back is getting bad, almost to the point of needing surgery. But with the adjustable base, I have been able to adjust it as well as the firmness so I can still sleep through the night, and wake up virtually pain free.

It has been a lifesaver for us. It has also held up really good. As time goes by, the foam at the edges of the bed does start to deform a little from getting in and out of the bed. Luckily though, I can unzip the mattresses and can swap the foam from the left and right sides of each mattress. This restores the firmness and over time the foam that was deforming goes back to normal.

Price. Ours cost us right at $10k. At the time, that was a VERY hard pill to swallow. Looking back on it now though, it was money well spent. When you factor in the pain that my wife and I were in, and the fact that this bed help to alleviate that pain as well as it helped us to be more productive with our lives, it has been a bargain.

We have since bought a basic Sleep Number twin bed for our daughter(no adjustable base, no added features) which cost about $1,200. We also bought an RV queen Sleep Number bed, which was a basic one which ran about $1,500.

In short, we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

No issues with rolling towards the split in the bed?
