It saved my back and alot of arguments.

The up front cost sucked for sure but now after sleeping on one for 5-6 yrs I'd buy another in a heart beat. You just cant put a price tag on good sleep and a non aching back.

This!! Ours has the memory foam topper as well. When we first got it, my sleep number setting was 55. Now that I’m having back problems, it has progressively dropped down to a 35 now. Having a bed that you can adjust the firmness on as you start paying for all the crazy stuff you did in your youth is well worth the purchase price.

No, but it does make things a little odd when doing extracurricular activities! 😁

The two bases are attached to each other, and the spacing can be adjusted. I have moved this bed 4 times and won’t allow anyone else to take it apart or set it back up so I’m really familiar with it.

Ended up at Sleep number in Katy today. Sleep number beds have been updated across the board in the last 3 yrs- a lot of improvements. So as far as feeling like a typical camping air mattress - we didn’t feel anything near that ! Maybe the closest ones were the c’s but no where near a camping air mattress. We are discerning the P6 and the ILE - these have gel layers not comfort foam and they were both Dadgum comfortable with the ILE edging out the P6. The ILE is a little bit cooler and just more supportive. The sides are more firm on the ILE when getting out of the bed . They have a 50% off sale on the ILE which puts it $80 less expensive than the P6 which is only 20 % off. We don’t need the adjustable frame but if we ever do need it in the future we can add it. The manager was a rock and answered every question I threw at him from everything I have seen from here, YouTube , Google reviews and was very honest. We could not hear the pumps activate at all and we were the only ones in the store at that time. They don’t sell the remotes anymore because people use their app and their mobile phones instead. King size -He tested both of us on all levels of inflation starting at 100 and working down. With all of our different afflictions we came within 10 pds difference . We almost fell asleep in there due to instant pain relief. We were there for 2.5 hours so we spent a lot of time with the 2 different mattresses. Also note that even though I set my side at a test 90 and her side at 40 we had no feelings of rolling towards the middle ! The newer technology on the gel tops is awesome. We did look at the I10 with the memory foam top and it was the most horrible mattress in the store- but that’s just how the wife and I felt ! Everyone is different but we agree’d on everything today. There was no high pressure from the manager unlike the store in Victoria- we had to block their phone number lol. Pert near sure we will make the purchase tomorrow. Thanks for all of your input- it has been very much appreciated .

We later got a mattress cover from Sleep Number that has the cooling gel in it. This was probably about 7 years ago. That stuff is still working to this day! Amazing stuff. I will say this though, if you have some thick flannel sheets in the winter time, it doesn’t work as good.

We also use twin sheets on ours with separate blankets for each side, with a big king size comforter over the whole thing. My wife sleeps with several blankets on her, while I typically just have a sheet on, plus she tosses and turns while I sleep like the dead. So with separate sheets and blankets, we both get better sleep.

The same people bitching about spending $5K on a mattress probably have $50-60K+ trucks and $10+K in hunting equipment. Y’all do realize that you spend close to 30-40% of your day in your mattress. Sleep and Rest is one of the most important things your body needs for a healthy life.

Best thing we have ever bought for us/the house. Only con is the price, but I have some back issues and all of my previous beds would have my back hurting in the mornings, and we tried several different beds. Once you figure out your number you will love it. We bought the adjustable beds, and that is great if you have a head cold, just raise up a bit and it will help you sleep.
If you have a friend who has bought a SN bed, ask them to refer you and you will get a discount on the bed.

Agreed. Same ones who complain about the cost of diesel fuel in their 60-80k trucks.

Purchasing now! We did as you said and ended up getting a 35 % discount on the base.

Do not get locked in on 1salesperson - they try to do this! They are working on commission so there can be a lot more discounts and some are hungrier than others.

For the cabin at the lease I bought a memory foam mattress at Sams Club, I ordered a Coon mattress topper on Amazon and that sucker is amazing. Sometimes don’t make the morning hunt
