On average I got 4 sits per weekend with Thanksgiving and Christmas a little more so I'm guessing about 60 sits on weekends. I didn't hunt as much during the week as last year as I didn't have a good buck to hunt at that place. But I would say I did another 6 or 7 hunts during the week. So I'm going to go with 70 hunts including what I'll do this weekend. I personally only shot 2 does but "guided" both of my sons for their bucks and a few does and helped a couple of others. I would say I saw about 9 deer die this year.

In 1996 we went pheasant hunting up in the pan handle. It had snowed and the wind had blown grass over and it had frozen into tunnels.
The pheasant would run down these “tunnels” and then explode out of the snow when they reached the end. He was a blast! Even being the teens and not having dogs. I got three roosters that day and can’t remember a better eating bird.

On the other hand, hunting with my husband is the best gig around. He is my gun toter, bird boy, shell boy, and cabana boy all rolled into one. And he even carries an extra roll of toilet paper in the truck just for me.

yes I won.
