Does watching feeders from the house and porches count? As I have mentioned before I have been taking a break on the hunting, this is my third season I haven’t hunted on a regular basis. I have shot a couple but wouldn’t call it hunting.

There have been 14 weeks from October1 until January 7. I went 2-3 times every week of the season and during the first 2 weeks of rifle season I would drive to the lease for the A.M. and drive back for the P.M. hunt since I`m only 16 miles away. Being retired gives me the opportunity to go as much as I want, and I take advantage of it. I easily hunted 40+ days and only have a coyote to show for my efforts. I saw close to 25 different bucks and never chose to kill one due to not being old enough. Killed over 10 pigs last season and never saw a pig during rifle season and only twice during bow season this year (to far away). At 65 years old I actually enjoy going hunting just as much as I did when I was younger and have a much better place to hunt, but the desire to just kill buck or any deer isn`t as important as much as the experience of being in blind on a cold day and enjoy the sun coming up with anticipation of that buck that you`ve always dreamed of. It`s been quite a party.

Grand total of zero, too busy catering and such. Going down the RiverRat's place next weekend though to pop a doe if one happens by.

12 for me. Three 4 day trips to my OK lease. It's a 9hr drive to get there so hard to cram in many more trips in the fall. Tempted to pack up and drive up there again, season closes on 15th and weather gonna be COOOOLD.

I started bow hunting deer in 1968 so I probably have as many days on stand as some of you are old.
Never boring however I am not mad at the deer anymore and my old body hurts so I about quit last year. No days at all this year.

I have done over 70 sits. I was going out this morning but the second wave of the 2024 blizzard has arrived. I went to town yesterday morning and got a doe tag that can be harvested with a rifle thru January 21st. I went out yesterday evening. I hiked about a 1/4 mile thru about 12-15 of snow. I had my cross hairs on my 22-250 on a does neck right at dark, but decided not to shoot. Way too much work to get her out. I probably won't hunt the next 4 days. We are looking at sub zero temps from tomorrow thru Tuesday.

Not sure about days but I've had only 23 hunts so far this season by far my lowest count in years mainly due to me having a baby at home this season. Also probably slowed down due to the sucky duck hunting so far and the success with deer. Shot 7 does so far this season so I've spent a lot of days I would normally be hunting processing deer. I hunt an MLD property and duck season might finally be getting good so I imagine I still have some more hunts to go before I get a final tally for the season

I made 10 sits in a deer stand this year. 5 mornings and 5 evenings... Also made 6 duck hunts (Including teal season).... I'm fortunate to have gotten to go that many times! I am desperately looking for a place to bring the family for 2024. I also only get a whooping 10 days of vacation a year, so on a good year I'll get 60-80 hunts in. I envy those of you who get 100+ days in the woods!

I hunted 20ish days... all on public, so all long drives, and mostly truck bed sleeping. I was in full "kill the first legal critter" mode, but the only meat that made it to the freezer was a little piglet and two rabbits.

Average about 80-120 days from Sep-Jan. This year was the same.

Less than 10 sets. I was watching my cell cameras.

My SIL is a different story. He hunted hard.

I'm really curious to how many on here don't even bow hunt at all. I know quite a few myself.

I’d count that as hunting or watching!
