This made me hongry for some grits but I don’t dare eat before walking to the blind this morning !

I was raised on grits. I’d mix my runny eggs with em and crunch my bacon up, then slap em on toast! Make you wanna slap yo mamma!

As I already stated I’m from San Antonio. Ate more chorizo than anything it seems.
No I wasn’t poor. Never lacked for any essentials. We were a military family.
Yes I grew up in the sixties.
I ate a sh*t ton of SOS and a lot of hash.

The only reason why anyone likes grits is because of what they put on it.

Hah! We had similar childhoods. Military brat, SOS, moved every couple of years.
