    Cellular Booster??

Anyone purchased a cellular booster for their deer camp? I’ve looked at a bunch and can’t seem to decide which way to go. Appreciate any advice.

We have limited cell service at the hunting spot, which is half of the fun of going. I can get texts out most of the time, and calls most of the time also, and service is pretty decent from my tree stand. Now that I'm a work-from-home guy, if I could get internet out there, I could just go to the hunting spot and work. No work

My wife and I are thinking of getting one for when we go camping. We don’t know much about them. What’s good and what should we watch out for?

I have had a WeBoost for quite a while, but really kind of stopped using it once I got Starlink mobile. It is pretty awesome, but it costs $150 per month.

We have Starlink at the house and love it!

We had a WeBoost Home Multi-room at the camp for 5 or 6 years and it performed pretty good. It got fried by lightning hitting the antenna mounted outside that was pretty high up, dont remember how high but it was the maximum recommended.

We repleplaced it with a Cel-Fi Go-X with a grid parabolic outdoor antenna. It is a singal carrier system (AT&T for us). We find it provides a stronger and more stable signal boost.

I can get service where I hunt in one of the tower stands and up on some of the higher hills and that's really just good enough to text message. I bought a cheap one off of Ebay that covers multi bands, bolted some old deer stand legs together and stuck it about 20 feet in the air behind camp pointed at town. I was on the internet in the house under a tin roof, something that has never happened before. As long as you have the "potential" to get signal, it can't create what isn't there, it works pretty awesome. Think I spent $65

Here in Wyoming we have them in our trucks. It's a must in some places.

No problem. I search primarily through a search engine unless real recent.

We put the cheapest WeBoost in our house (metal roof, double pane windows), and before we would have one bar, some times no bars, and lots of dropped calls. After, no dropped calls, three bars all the time. Pretty dang good for a little over a hundred dollars.

Weboost for going on 13 years. Had to upgrade once when everything went to LTE. We have the 5,000 sq foot for a small cabin but we bought before the 1500 sqft was available.

Weboost with a directional antenna for us. Sixteen fold increase in signal power when you do the math. I was lazy and just got the inside antenna into the house. I stuck it on the wall behind the tv set. As long as we stay somewhat close to the living room, the signal is great.
