I had a guy give me 2 packages he had done at Klein's Meat Market and they were surprisingly good. I don't know that I would want 25lbs of them however. I got some hotlinks made last year and got 15lbs and I was not real fond of it so I have 10lbs still in the freezer. Not sure if it will ever get eaten.

This is a very timely thread for me because I was just looking for a place to get natural casing hot dogs made. My parents spend a ridiculous amount of money on these things down here.
For the people that have had them, do the casings get tough because they are collagen or because you're not used to natural casing hot dogs? From what I have read online they should be made from lamb/sheep casings for size instead of hog casings. I don't have any experience with collagen casings but I can only image those can get tough.
