I sincerely pray that none of you ever actually have to use a gun. Stuff you say on a public forum can and WILL be used against you. All this shoot first and ask questions later could cost you dearly.

I agree this crime wave is horrible and I would defend my life and my family's life with force, but my stuff is not worth a life. If it's a home break in I will indeed shoot first and often as I have to defend my family. But, the act of taking a life is nothing to joke about and I imagine it would weigh heavily on my mind for the rest of my life, even if it's justified.

I just advise not being portrayed as hungry for blood.

Theft is the most foolish and short term way to "stop being so broke".
          Very true

You make a great point. I dont think many are hungry for blood on here...at least human blood. But to shoot someone that is threatening your life or lively hood to me a no brainer. criminals should and will be shot. If I am put in that situation I will shoot to kill. It gets real old, the way criminals just take and take and place fear in people by stealing and harming hard working people. This is serious stuff. I would never start anything towards being blood thirsty but I would for sure make sure I finish it....and that be the last thing he or she ever stole or put my family in harms way. That may not be popular with some and thats ok...its your choice but its what I would do. I have only had to pull my gun once and the situation was one where to fire would place others in danger so did not. Given the right situation the crook is dead. No doubt.

My point isn't that you should not protect yourself. I certainly would. My point is that you should be careful how you come across. This isn't aimed at you, just a general observation.

I notice it too. The internet isn't not ACTUALLY anonymous. Every move a person makes can be tracked by someone with the know how.
