They will almost never be the same but you can. Are you talking about dry cigars? If so, bring them back real slow. I have tried to two times in the past. The first time it tasted like crud. 2nd, I went to fast and it split.

Ive got a Cuisinart Wine Cooler I was gonna turn into a humidor. I discovered I have no room for it and have gone a different direction. It does not cool but the fan still blows to circulate air. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM. Ill trade it for a stick or two and can probably bring it to you.
