Someone could have already posted but yes, they are all over the upper end of Toledo Bend back waters, especially the Cypress slews.

There are a family of them in the Lake Paula area of Lake Conroe... Pretty dang cool... was fishing along, and hear plop plop plop behind me, turn and see 3 furry lil faces, then plop plop plop, they disappeared... saw them about 3 mins later on one of the islands in lake paula.

The dead one was on Ridge Rd. in the middle of Rockwall during the rains in Feb. There was a lot of discussion about it on Facebook, so someone tried to clarify lol.

I watched 2 a month or so ago on Spring Creek. They had some little chirp they would make back and forth. It was pretty cool.

See them up in the creeks around Lake Livingston quite often, especially up White Rock.
