If it wasn't so hot right now we may have a cow down but waiting til cooler weather, cow season opened Aug 15 for us, rifle and bow.
Looking like nice cold front for Labor Day weekend here so we may get a cow or 2 down while bow hunting WTs.
Bulls are polished and looking regal right now.
We have 10 days set aside starting Sept. 5 for archery elk in the Snowies.Comment

Our elk are rubbed off already, must be down further South. Great bull though !!
You all coming up for an early archery hunt, check the weather. Cold front coming for Labor Day weekend, snow up North of us they are saying. The super moon may have a little early rut activity (?) Wishful thinking I'm betting though for our early ish elk hunt, lol.
