    AT&T Customer service

I am trying to sign up for 4 lines of service with AT&T and they won't return my calls. I have spoke with 5 or 6 customer service reps, been transferred too many times to count. I was down to the point of selecting phones, giving number that needed to be ported, etc when the customer service rep wanted to put me on hold for 3-5 minutes. I asked them to call me back because I am at work. I never heard back from them. I have given each of them well over an hour, nothing.
I can't believe I am trying to sign a 2 year contract with them and they won't follow up with me and complete the sale.
Is this the "Customer Service" I can expect from AT&T? If so, I think I may stay with Sprint. If you have suggestions, please let me know.

This is the norm for AT&T. They would rather you place your order on-line.

I stopped using and recommending AT&T years ago for my clients.

BTW: When it comes to phone companies, it's not a matter of which one is the best, it's which one sucks the least.

AT&T and Customer service are three words that don't belong in the same sentence. I could tell you some stories!!!!

Take a half day off and just go to a store.

It seems like the only way...

Trying to upgrade ours online, they were charging 50 bucks more each month per phone when I did it online. Couldn't fix it without going in to a store

I tried, there are some issues with the price of their phones that I need to talk to a rep about. One area of their site shows phones at 50% off. I will be a Premier Customer and those prices are not listed in Premier. I've had 3 CS reps said they could match the price but never called back to complete the order.

Yea Keith, just bite the bullet and do it at the store.

They recently tried to change all of my "unlimited plans" on me. I pitched a fit and they left my plans alone.

The girl who called me was about the most disrespectfull person I ever dealt with on the phone. When I demanded to speak with her supervisor, she hung up on me.

If I wasnt grandfathered in on the unlimited plans, I would go eleswhere in a heartbeat. Horrible service.

After reading all the replies, Sprint is looking better and better.

I just go to the store and haven't had any issues, but ATT is the only phone that will get a signal at the deer lease for me that's why i switched from Verizon.

What they said! AT&T is the worst. I have one of their aircards, have AT&T as my provider and EVERY time I try to use the card there is an issue and I have to talk to 6 different people to get it resolved. Ready to pull somebody's hair out!
