To badmouth someone for what they want to hunt bc its not on the list of what you want to hunt???
Come on man, did i really need to type that. Obviously the OP knows absolutely nothing about hunting Africa. "what do they do with the meat? I mean you cant bring it back, wildlife pens???
Humans are diverse....and our likes and dislikes...centric with a common theme...will always be unpredictable with outcome and result. Just because I enjoy a grilled MAKO SHARK STEAK doesn't mean my fishing partners are locked into the same joy. Heck...even chasing that species may not appeal to those that chase other species....both under the sea.
Those that recognize and respect the differences...most Amercians I know and run with do....are friends for life!
We all know each region, country and culture has it's own style of hunting...those that still allow hunting...and typically it's a big industry with positive outcome for those that live there (food, resources and intangibles related to logistics & monies).
If you're heart flutters with bow in hand....as it stands before you....THWACK! I don't have any beef with it at all...as long as you keep it fair and legal...but most importantly..ABSOLUTE RESPECT for the ANIMAL KILLED!
The hunting industry has saved several game species from extinction. Local farmers were all but wiping out cheetahs due to livestock depredation until hunting was permitted. The revenue generated from western hunters made them a far more valuable commodity than the cattle so now there's a thriving population of cheetahs and the native people are a lot better off financially.

Do some research first
ouch.
dont get so offended. I didnt see any bad mouthing. and if you consider what has been typed bad mouthing you need to stop taking things so personal.
I know nothing about hunting africa. he asked. you WONT even give an answer.
What do YOU do with the meat? What do THEY do with the meat. I guess maybe this is a killer vs hunter thing. you go to africa to say you KILLED a girafe? I hunt to put meat on my familys table? is it that sort of deal? whos ego is bigger? I dont know never done it or associated with the types that do.
Now what I just said maybe could be taking as bad mouthing. I am not as well off as you and cannot yet afford to go to africa for a hunt. SO, the best thing I can do is wonder what really happens. Then when people respond and are not willing to share what really goes on and what happens with meat ect. Maybe I dont care to associate with those types anyway...
Although I don't really have any idea what the meat is used for when animals are killed on a game ranch, I can say for certain that some people in Africa do eat elephant and giraffe. Tribal populations have been doing it for thousands of years. Mammoth and Mastodon meet was apparently highly sought after by early populations, and modern groups also hunt and eat elephants and giraffes. Now, killing predators like Lions, probably only for protection.
no way i could shoot a zebra, giraffe, elephant, cow or anything like that! not hating just i could nt draw on something like that.. dunno why just dont have that in me to kill one of those
