Hunting weird things like giraffe and zebra and elephants wildebeest...just don't see the point in it...perhaps someone could enlighten me on what they do with the meat. I've just never seen people say yummy giraffe steak tonight. I know it's "sport" but you would have to pay serious money to shoot one of thoes things in there wildlife pen I have no problem taking animals to eat and by no way a tree huger but killing some animals seem pointless just to say "you have" killed an elephant with a bow

I do not see the point or the "hunt" in it either. And I think people kid themselves when they act like a sportsman and claim the meat was given to the needy or whatever.
I could never go to Africa to kill something that was behind a HF. Just not for me.

This is sort of why I do not want to kill a bear. Hear it's good eating but unsure. Would probably change my mind if I lived up north though.

Giraffe no b/c my daughters room is filled with them . Mama would be ******! No issues with others doing it though. Whatever floats it.

The concession we hunted in Africa was 96,000 acres and HF. With that many acres it doesn't matter.

I asked my friend the same thing about a trip he went on, shot a giraffe. He told me that the meat fed the village they went to for weeks. They are very difficult to hunt, they are skittish and very protective of their young.
