Post #31 is what stirred the pot on this topic, it was not Twiztd. He was asking questions and getting straight answers, with no arguments or name calling up until this point. All of you who are ranting at him for stirring the pot right now are being hipocrits(sp?). There was nothing wrong with this post until someone started taking shots at him, then it all went downhill from there in a giant peeing contest.

See posts 1,4,13 then 80, 87, 88 and so on....post 83 may have been the best post on the thread...playing "dumb" works just about as well as calling folks a-holes.......

I see nothing but curious questions with post 13, hes wondering why yall do/did it. To me post 31 wouldnt have offended me, but alot of people think of ignorance as an insult, therefore lighting a fire under someones butt to spring back with another comment to boil the stirred pot. I'm just saying I can see how this whole thread is a misunderstanding.

But what kinda dude gets kicks off of shooting a giraffe what do you do with it? What's the point? Do they eat it? Are you proud of it?

there ya go Bigfoot....that's not an innocent question that's talking down someone that would shoot a giraffe. And then he follows up with "ARE YOU PROUD OF IT?" which basically is insinuating you shouldn't be proud of taking one or it's trivial that you would be proud of taking a giraffe. not to mention the the first post of the thread. You know just as well as I do what sort of stigma is attached with the phrase "pen hunt". Do i need to bring up Jimmy Houston?? That was very offensive, as ignorance isn't an excuse for being disrespectful.

I've ruffled feathers around here but I've never made an excuse for it and I didn't come to my thoughts out of ignorance on the subject. Furthermore, the guy isn't that dumb, read some of his past posts. He knew exactly what he was getting himself into.

oh I so very sorry, that I started all of this. I was just upset when I realized I had taken my elephants, lion, leopard, buff ect, during my 9 trip to a half dozen African countries in a pen.

I haven't read any of this thread except for the initial post. I shot a Giraffe with a bow just to say I did and to have a Giraffe in my house. The meat fed a bunch of poor Africans. None of the meat in Africa goes to waste. I would do it again and plan to.
