Honest answer?? There is nothing you can do.
When chiggers bite you, they release an enzyme that acts like "meat tenderizer" (the cells of your skin are effectively dying for 5-7 days), and the itch is actually an auto-response to what would be PAIN if it was a larger area that was injected with the same enzyme.
