I always travel on airplanes with a big rodeo belt buckle and my leather bomber jacket so I can wrap the belt around my right hand to swing the buckle, and wrap the jacket around my left arm to block against a packing knife attack.

I lost 2 guys I went to high school with when the towers came down, and on Sept. 22 buried my Dad who died of cancer in NJ pm 9/16 and then drove into NYC to say a prayer and saw the bottom of the WTC with the smoking pile around it from a distance. I'll never forget what THEY did to US in the name of THEIR God.

I pretty much stay mad that the govt will not secure the borders...another 9/11 will happen unless we take some lessons from Israel on how to actually defend this nation.

Everything we have done (tsa) has been reactionary.

I've donated a sentimental knife to TSA...forgetting about it before jumping onboard a plane in Montana. Carried that blade during my Coast Guard days......now it's gone.

I've lost countless days of my life sitting and waiting in airports....hours before all flights, just to clear security and the 1-hour security check-in. Flights in and out of LAX......those were the worst! So glad I don't travel for a living anymore...there was a point in my life where I boarded a plan every Monday, departing Austin and or San Antonio to locations through-out the USA..at times catching 5 - 7 different planes in various cities...requiring check-in at each to fly. Traveling the airways under today's security umbrella....it isn't fun. I will never recover those lost hours of airport lounge sit and waits between flights.

My Country now has a debt crisis.....a crisis that may have been averted had the USA not been hard pressed to pour out trillions of dollars to fight these terrorist cowards. Predator drone technology is cool but........it doesn't solve world hunger or wipe out cancer.....etc......etc.....etc.

I can go on and on but I'll cut it out here....it's impacted us all.

I realize now how seriously real the threat is from so many people in the world that want to kill Christians. It amazes me more than words can say. Knowing what a true Christian is like and what the Bible teaches, it just amazes me they want Christians (and Americans in general) dead.

Does anyone feel that we've lost some of our freedom?

More money needs to be put into this technology than most people think..

I think this is a good example:
So let me get this straight....
If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 yrs. hard labor.
If you cross the Afghanistan border illegally, you get shot.
Two Americans just got eight years for crossing the Iranian border.
If you cross the U. S. border illegally you get a job, a drivers license, food stamps, a place to live, health care, housing & child benefits, education, & a tax free business for 7 yrs ...No wonder we are a country in debt.
X2! I for one am so sick of all the PC bullcrap our Government puts up with. If our Country offends someone, then get out of our Country!!
