I sing the National Anthem when it's played as loud as appropriate.

I never understood why they get "celebrities" to sing our National Anthem in a stadium full of 80,000 people that ought to know the words.

It's our National Anthem. Sing it...and sing it proudly.

I do as well. I like your thoughts. Never thought of it like that. It would be pretty cool seeing/hearing
the crowd sing with the same passion they show for their team.

Sadly, I have found I am far less tolerant of people. Maybe it's because of all the PC attitudes and God forbid we offend another that we sit back and take it and then complain why?
I think this is a good example:
So let me get this straight....
If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 yrs. hard labor.
If you cross the Afghanistan border illegally, you get shot.
Two Americans just got eight years for crossing the Iranian border.
If you cross the U. S. border illegally you get a job, a drivers license, food stamps, a place to live, health care, housing & child benefits, education, & a tax free business for 7 yrs ...No wonder we are a country in debt.

Too much whining about "why do we have to do X, Y, and Z." I'll take the delays at the airport, etc. any day over another 9/11. Lost a good soldier who had worked for me when that airplane torpedoed the Pentagon, and I'm still mad and want to get even--no, make that ahead.
