Ok folks, I have never been a huge fan of the Houston area, especially growing up out west. But a business opportunity may be coming up for me next year in the Houston area. I won't have to live in Houston proper, but be close enough to get to the airport in a couple hours for international flights. I have a few friends in the Katy area, which would be on the way home anyway. Love to fish and duck hunt also, if that helps. Any suggestions? It may not pan out at all, but want to start looking if it does.

FYI - Casey has a great house for sale there.
New Caney and Porter have some nice parts as well, more "small townish"
Tomball is nice, Cypress is ok, depending on what part you go to. Beware schools. I live in Klein now, its fair.
