Um... I'll stick with the scorpions.

A centipede sting makes a scorpion sting feel like an ant bite! They will freaking light you up! I HATE those things. They look like something out of a science fiction movie.

FYI, if you do get stung by a scorpion, immediately put an ice cube on it and hold it there. You may have to hold it on there for 5-10 minutes, but it will take away the pain almost instantly.

When we first moved here, we used to see them all the time and Quinton has been stung 3 times. I used Ortho Home Defense inside and out and have not seen many at all since.

I also have 7 chickens now

We had 40+ free ranging chickens running around the house until about 2 months ago and we hadn't seen a scorpion in 3 years. We would find 2 or 3 chickens dead each morning with just the entrails gone. Figured it was opossum or skunk. Around 3:00am one morning I heard the chickens go off and I ran out there with my sons .410. Turns out it was a HUGE coon and I quickly dispatched him. We now have only 7 chickens left but will probably get a bunch more. They really do help with the insect population.

        One more reason to KAC!

Had a nice sized one on the patio last night. Dogs were jacking with it. Radar the wonder mutt got stung. Seemed not so bothered by it.

We tried to corral it into an "empty" lemonade jug. The tiny bit of lemonade killed it graveyard dead. It was instant death. I don't understand it, but it was a tiny bit of lemonade and it wiped it out.

We've seen our share this summer without getting stung. I hope our luck holds.

I'd think twice about drinking anymore of that lemonade.

to remove it from my person, you always brush it away with both hands, with a panicked look on your face, while screaming like a little girl.

How long can they live trapped in a light fixture? This one's been here since last Sunday (one week). We've been thinking he'll die sooner or later. We want him to die a slow death
