When our rancher purchased another of the neighboring properties last year. The property had a nice sized 3 bedroom house on it. It had not been lived in for almost a year when he bought it. It was infested with scorpions. We ended up killing almost 20 in the empty garage the first hour we were there. He bought some of that Demon WP at the local Feed Store and sprayed the house pretty heavy twice. That seemed to have taken care of the problem. We have not seen a scorpion inside the house since we sprayed.

If your tounge is getting numb after you get stung then you likely have a mild allergy to the sting. I would suggest that if you get stung again to take a benadryl to keep the histamine release in check. The last thing you want is to have a huge anaphylactic reaction, major swelling and airway obstruction! Seriously, the numb tounge thing should NOT be overlooked here - it could easily turn into a life threatening situation.

Not to long ago I got one in my shirt sleeve somehow and it go me six times before I got It. My whole face went numb. I put wet tabacco on the stings right away and it pulled the poison out. Benedryl works good, but I'm allergic to it. As said above, don't play around with it if you are going numb.

When we first moved into the house here in Pipe Creek, there was one in my son's room. He was just born, a week old or so, but not sleeping in this room regardless, but I was putting his crib together. When I moved the mattress, I stepped right on top of it. Ball of the foot.
Stung me back in June. Foot is still sore from it. I've heard meat tenderizer would work to cure the pain. also making a paste of cigarette tobacco and water, or aloe vera?
All I know is I'm tired of pain in my foot when I walk.
