The 308 guns are decent guns. Actually they aren't that bad at all. Go read specs from the barrels to the receivers to everything that goes into the gun between DPMS which is not milspec at all, and compare it to any of the specs you'll see on the manufacturers I listed above.

Thanks for the clarification, mc. That makes me feel better about my rifle. I have a YHM .223 that has worked pretty well so far. Any thoughts on them?

i dont want a 308 ar youo really roll through the dough shootin on of those 223 is cheaper to shoot part of the reason i am lookin for one

Very true, that's why the .308 only gets pulled out for hunting. I have a YHM in .223 for having fun with.

I like YHM products. Anyone that makes suppressors as well as AR's inherently must be more recuse with their components. YHM makes a lot of parts for other companies as well.
