    In all seriousness...

    Dear lord help me. Lol

Okay, as of right now I'm shooting Muzzy 3's at 125 gr. and I'm having a tuff time staying on target. I'm a pretty decent shot so I'm blaming the BH's lol

I'm thinking of switching to the anger (Rage) side of things and wanted some serious input.
None of that, "All mechanicals are trash!" if you've never picked one up before.
Im not hungry at the moment so no popcorn please. Lol

    Pros:
    Accuracy
    Large cutting diameter

    Cons:
    Not durable
Some timey on the action (I believe this is from human error somewhere)

    Can you add anything? Constructive?

Try a Thunderhead, If it won`t fly straight, you have tuning issue.

Honestly Mac, I havent had a single problem from a rage that I put in the vital's, even recovered a couple from marginal hit's. I have lost 2 pig's with a rage but where I hit them a spear wouldnt have done any good. All I can say is try them out and be confident with whatever you choose. I could go into the whole tuning your bow thing but youve been around here enough to have heard all that.

Mac are you trying these out for the first time? Have you changed anything else? What exactly is happening, consistenly off or all over the place? Are your arrows properly spined and if so is your bow tuned properly? I am a believer that any bow should be able to shoot a fixed head accurately.
I don't have anything to offer on mechanical heads.

If your bow is properly tuned and your arrows properly spined, you should be able to shoot same point of impact as your field tips with any broadhead. That being said, I have shot a lot of broadheads, and I usually have the most dificulty tuning Muzzy's than any other head. If you are stuck on shooting them, I would suggest paper tuning and/or bare shaft tuning. A good guide on tuning is availabe at the Easton archery web site.

            Good luck!

I always go back to the Muzzy 100 3-blade....I've taken several animals (and a turkey or 2) with 2 blade Rages......Like them both. I have decided to stay with the Muzzy but always keep a 2 blade Rage in the quiver....I recommend you give them a try, if it works for you....go for it

Mac I am a huge fan of the Rage. I never could get the fixed to fly right either. Everyone says its tuning, etc etc etc, but after 5 trips to 2 different bow shops I quit. From shot 1 with the rage it was dead on, and it's dead on with mine out to 40 yds, so good enough for me. I've shot 2 deer with them and you would not believe the hole. Crazy. Try it!

Yeah, I got my bow tuned by a pro this weekend. Wasn't much he had to do...
As for tuning the BH's they're to inconsistent!
One will hit high left, the next will hit low Rt...
And the make my arrows fly off the string funny... Craziest thing I've experienced with a BH... Don't know what to think really.
Field tips still flying great tho..

Post up your bow and arrow specs...

I personally couldn't get Muzzys to fly the same as my field tips either. Another option is to only practice with a used Muzzy and hunt with "new" ones. The only downfall to this is, if you ever decided to shoot anything else, (field tip, judo point, Rage), you'd have to sight your bow in again.

If the bow is tuned, I'd say something in your form (torque) is causing the broadheads to plane.....or you have broadhead fever.
