Switch around Slick Trick and Muzzy above and I have the same problem.....but... I don't want to suggest that Muzzys have a problem because I know I'd "Ride the Lightning" from their loyal following for that......

The other option, sight in with BH.

I've shot Rage for the past 4 or so season with great success. My buck from last season was shot with a T3 Tekken. Those will be my go too's this year. Those Ramcat's look good as well.

Isn't your bow sighted in for Muzzys and you practice with Muzzy heads?

I haven't had good luck with muzzy's either.

Rages work fine but I have had issues with the blades not being locked at very inconvenient times.

Try a pack of shuttle t lock's first. They are tough, penetrate well and make good blood trails.

If you go to rage use only the 2 blade ones from my experience.

"ride the lightning"....that's funny. Once the weather gets below 190 here I plan on attempting a zeroing in session with the slick tricks again

As for tuning the BH's they're to inconsistent!
One will hit high left, the next will hit low Rt...

And the make my arrows fly off the string funny... Craziest thing I've experienced with a BH... Don't know what to think really.
Field tips still flying great tho..

Rocky, what do you do when they're flying like Mac is describing?

Rocky, I'm not trying to lock horns with you, I give you 100% respect. Just curious to this issue myself.

Rage Pros-Fly like field point, makes big hole.
Rage Cons-O rings-you will have to watch this, especially in your quiver. They like to open up if you are not paying attention. Hunting from ground blind or treestand, no problem. You will have time to check them, spot and stalking, be careful because it is easy to snag on tree branch or twigs and will open blades and not know it. I have used them and killed lots of deer with them. I will still use them on deer type game. I tried some grizztricks end of deer season last year and for hogs all summer, and have had real good success with them. I had same trouble, as I think lot's of bowhunter's have with fixed broadheads flying true, and the grizztrick and the magnus stinger for some reason fly very well for me. If you want to shoot the Rage, go for it!! They will do just fine, and who cares what the anti rage guy's think!!

Mac you should've know you were opening a can of worms, hahaha.

I think the general concensus is "do whatever you want because we all have different opinions" lol.

Didn't think you were, and I'm just goofin'
In all seriousness, in Mac's case, all options have not been exhausted.
He said the arrows were cheapos, so there's a good possibility the spine may not be right, and he said they were 4 inch with 1 degree offset.
With a head that has as much blade surface area as the Muzzy 125, he needs more spin/more helical.

Rocky.....I think Tubby is being mean and trying to lock horns with youJK

Mac, my only issue with the 2 blade Rage is putting them in my standard quiver....make sure they a locked when you take them out to shoot

Actually yes and no.....yes, I sighted in for Muzzys....but...I get better accuracy with Rages at further distances.

Can you remove your broad head (regardless of which brand) and install a field tip and be accurate?
