There is a time to hunt and a time to party, but when you do it together you risk leaving a negative image with the non hunting public. Too many times I have heard comments from non hunters that all hunters were slob hunters and drunks. We know that is not true, but the fact is many non hunters believe that. Comments that you can't hunt without drinking does not need to be said in the public. We have enough problems with the animal rights groups. We don't need a public image that would tarnish or jeopardize our rights to hunt.

"I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow. I like beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow. Whiskey's to rough, champagne costs too much and vodka puts my mouth in gear. This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer."
I have a few after the day in camp and for me, there's nothing like it. Campfire, hot grub and a cold one or two seem to be close enough to perfect for me.
