    Alcohol during a hunt

I would like perspectives from both ranchers/land owners and hunters on the consumption of alcohol during a hunt. Not necessarily during the actual hunt, but rather after the morning hunt, before the evening hunt and after the evening hunt. Ranchers, what do you allow/tolerate? Hunters, what do you expect from the rancher's rules. I'm re-evaluating our ranch rules and would appreciate some input. Have ya'll ever asked someone to leave and what (if any) were the consequences?

nothing wrong with a little booze as long as you're not hunting drunk. couldn't do that if i wanted to, though. makes me pee too much.

Moderation is the key before hunts on the places I've hunted .....

Slobbering drunk is not moderation and wouldn't be tolerated while huntin'....besides I couldn't keep my bow steady.

Having a few beers at lunch or lettin' loose after the evening hunt is fine by me.

      HOWEVER........

Dove huntin' and beer drankin' is a tradition and part of my culture.

I don't drink so I really don't care if there is no alcohol allowed. I think that at a minumum nobody should be allowed to hunt while intoxicated.

Moderation until after the evening hunt is my theory . But not to much b/c you won't feel like getting up for the morning hunt .

                            For me, I don't care.

Course, I wouldn't hunt a place that wouldn't let my friends drink.

I take a cooler to the campsite/stand. After checking feeders/camera and scouting for fresh deer tracks/deer droppings, then I do pop open a cold one and enjoy the fresh breeze.

I never drink during the day, makes me too tired. LOL!!

Of course you have to open a cold one when you nail that prized deer from 30 yards!!!
