    Best pair of Costas???

Looking at getting me a nice pair of shades. I haven't had a great set since colege. Thinking about Costas. What is the best all around pair yall recomend. They will be daily use as well as lake and bays fishing.

Any suggestions I'm going to look today.

Can't go wrong with a pair of Harpoons and a set of Green Glass 580s

I would suggest the 580 lenses. But I think you should go try them on to find out which ones fit your face better.

I have been looking at them lately too and Im leaning toward the green 580 lenses since they are supposed to be for bay fishing. My buddy has a pair with those lenses and they are great.

I like the Fathoms but the brines are my favorite...get the 580glass.

You will have to decide on color, I have the Brine amber for driving and the Brine blue mirror for fishing.

Gave the fathoms to the wife

Look at the Rudy Project Glasses. Great glass, awesome lense replacement and awesome service.

I'm leaning towards the permits for the same reason!

I really like my wave killers. I have always liked glasses where no outside light gets in to my peripheral. The wave killers are a little larger and give you a little more eye coverage.

I have the Silver Teak Hammerheads with the 580 green lens. Best pair of glasses I have ever owned. Nothing comes close actually.

X2 on this.... What fits me may not fit you. There are many different sizes of costas. You can go to their homepage and see that their frame widths, lens heights and temple sizes are numerous.

I do prefer the amber or green mirror/amber lens for an all around lens color.

now if I could ever find a sale on Costa's, we'd all be set....I have been searching for a pair for a while myself and have been told the 580's are the way to go for fishing as stated above and within that, many have said the different colors, blue, green and mirror are all specifically good for different types of fishing....then you have all the different frames which are width specific....get's cornfusing fast....I am just going to go to Academy and test drive the different frames to get the look and feel in person....

Fathoms and harpoons seem to be the most popular from all the digging I have seen....but I have not really gathered info for us large brain barn peeps yet....

                              Just newer technology, lighter glass.

I own a pair of Fathom 400 blue mirrors, purchased 10 years ago way before 580's even came out.

Also, have a pair with 580's.

Can't tell much difference in my opinion. I would just go with the 580's as it's just the newest.
