crashed water bottle is good for 3-4 shots with a m4 5.56.....u learn all sorts of things in the army!!......a potato on the end of the barrel also works well, but i prefer the water bottle......put very small holes in it right infront of the neck of the bottle so the whole bottle doesnt explode from the pressure, also make the neck semi tight with tape...(tape around the threads and fold it down into the bottle untill u get a semi tight fit but not too tight to where the preshure blows it off, u should be able to wiggle it a little and just barly see a gap between the barrel and the tape.....hope this helps.......

That is probably the best advice so far. I was going to say the same thing. We could all use more practice; and what better way to practice than shooting at a live target. They make nice hats.

This, clamp it on with a hose clamp. We only used balloons (or condom) stretched over the barrel to shoot under water when you stick the barrel down in the creek
