Snake Away. I cannot testify to the effectiveness but I have used this to put a barrier between my camp (travel trailer & cabin) and the woods. Knock on wood, I have never seen a snake there before I started doing this, but it seemed like cheap insurance, especially with having 2 small kids there.

mongoose would probably work the best. anyone have any for sale...LOL

well killed another 4 footer Friday afternoon. so Saturday i decided to go snake hunting. i walked the fence lines, beating on the brush and looking into every hole i could find. then i decided to go look through some of the barns on the place. i walked into one of the barns and there were 2 big snakes (4' and 5') mating. they were all balled up. i wasn't sure what going to happen once i caught the first one. so i got my bucket read and grabbed the bigger 5' and was hoping the other one would try to attack me. lucky the second one took off and hid under some pipe. once i got the first on in the bucket, i started to move some of the pipe around until i got the second one.
So that’s 5 big snakes in about 3-4 weeks. thats just way to many snakes

The snakes are there because of free meals, i.e. mice. Start putting out mice/rat poison to get the mice/rats and the snakes will leave for better pastures...not much else will work (besides momma cats), that will thin out the mice. Also don't feed the cats as they will not hunt mice on a full stomach....
