Get rid of any food source for rats and mice. That includes any feed you put out, and any kitchen garbage. Feral cats do a good job of controlling the population. Animals don’t have a refrigerator. So they are continually looking for food.

Beeville.....good luck. Where do you live at in Beeville? In town? Country?
I grew up there and moved away in 1990. I lived in town but there was a field across the street from me. We killed a few rattlesnakes in that field. I would try moth balls in the yard. There are some snake sprays at Lowe’s you can purchase as well. Tractor Supply should carry something as well.

Snake away doesn’t work and neither does moth balls (which are illegal to use in this manner. They pollute the ground water). Removing what they want which is probably rodents is your best option.

Ok, I stand corrected. Snake sprays and mothballs do not work. See post above.

Go to Home Depot or Ace Hardware and buy some Demon pesticide. Put it in a spray bottle and spray all the barns inside and around your house this stuff works. We spray it at our place and we have yet to see a snake, spider, rat, or any critters you do t want. Read the directions very good before using.

Heck yeah it will work! I'll see if I can find the pic of my dad and four huge, dead chicken snakes. He didn't have any eggs come up missing anymore!

Snakes are only there for shelter, food or both. Get rid of their food source or anything they can hide in or under and they'll leave. You might have the occasional one come around but not like you've been having.

I don't know of anything that you can throw out or sprinkle in your yard that a snake won't crawl right over.

                      Moth balls as mentioned above.

I'd rather have the snakes. Meanest SOB I've ever seen.
If a guinea showed up at our house, it would be shot, very quickly. I hate those noise birds. I would tell the wife a coyote must have gotten it.
