I just figured out what AR is....Yes Brown county is under AR but we are an MLD ranch starting this year so that rule doesn't apply to us.

Why wouldn't he be a cull? If you are not culling until 4.5 and he's 2.5 then I can buy that he's not a cull. Other wise under probably ideal range conditions he's a five with no brow tines that should be at least a decent six or really a small eight. You'd be good at our place and we are pretty selective.

Gotcha, on the high fence ranch I guide on that deer is a cull. Take that for what it's worth.

Some say that no brows at a young age does not mean a thing, and that deer could become a great buck, but in my experience it is a genetic flaw and have seen it over and over again on this ranch that we were starting to see more and more deer with no brows, and they are being exterminated when seen.

You mean the part about it being an MLD ranch? That wasn't part of the question. I didn't mean on any particular weekend. I just meant in general, would this be a cull or would you let him walk. Sorry for any confusion.

if you manage as much as you seem to, i'd say it's a cull. however, you also said there were 2-3 other 6's in the group...what made him more of a cull than them?
