scroll through the los cazadores entires and see where the deer are coming from though, and there are many that are never entered.
there was a 181" 11 point shot off my lease that wasn't entered this year along.

Per capita, North central Texas and the Panhandle can go toe-to-toe with South Texas, they (we) just don't have the sheer numbers of deer. And like you say with South Texas, there are lots of big deer killed every year up here that don't get reported. And the South Texas guys hate it when I say this, but in most cases up north it's done without the assistance of a HF, so that element has really changed the game in S Tx.
But anyway, the guy asked about the golden triangle. I think it's a little bigger than the picture posted above.
