Is that the entry or exit hole?? if exit you may have hit way higher on entry
      side and never touched vitals

18 yds. She ducked and rolled so hard to her right that I got guts and a low exit. I would
have sworn it was a perfect shot but the video showed what really happened. I let her
go and we tried to find her with no luck. The video showed the arrow kicked down, so I guess
the exit was covered by gut.

Strange things happen when you trip the release. Most of the time it is pilot error but
sometimes stuff happens. Does are much harder to kill than bucks anyway.

Video each shot and good luck with the Rage, I'll stay with Slick Tricks!
I don't mean to be rude, just want to dispel a common myth. The bolded above is physiolgically impossible.

I was wondering if I was going to be the one to post this first.

There is no "void". That's a excuse/lie perpetrated for years.

Out of a pop up on the ground that is a high lung hit.

do you have a pic of her other side to see the exit/entrance wound?

I hit a "H" buck in the exact same spot with a 2 blade rage 2 years ago at 15 yards from my knees. Found frothy blood but no deer. I still cry to this day!

That is the entry side. If she rolled away it would have came out the front, not guts. She couldn't have rolled towards me.

The "void" may be a myth but there that doe stands. I hit a buck one year up at LBJ in **** near the same spot. He didn't die either...

All i can think of, the angle wasn't right, maybe she jumped the string, we would have to see the exit wound.
Tough luck, she should be dead according to the shot placement.
